CHILDREN'S MUSIC

At The Vocal Gymnasium we use the Musikgarten program which is a family
based music program for Children (newborn to five years old). All of our music classes involve both parent and child for special bonding and developing musical skills in a fun and creative atmosphere.

In class we will sing tonal and rhythm patterns, dance with scarves, use various instruments to tap out simple and more complicated rhythms. Your child is learning basic music skills while having fun in a playful creative environment. We will dance, move and sing to simple folks, rock and spiritual songs with Guitar and various instruments. The program includes fingerplays, body awareness, as well as, motorskills development.

Ms. Wendy is available for Children's parties, camps and shows. Pick some of your child's favorite songs and activities including: Hoops, Scarves, Parachute, Guitar and Various Instruments and Puppets.

LITTLE DIVA/DIVO
PERFORMANCE CAMP
Develop performance skills.

• Explore repertoire while being coached.
• Polish the visual aspects of singing.
• Have fun singing the music you like.
• Learn to work with other musicians Learn to work with other musicians & singers

The final performance will be open to the public. You will sing one song and one duet or group song with a trio of musicians. Video is used as a learning tool. Piano and recorded track used.

 

WEEK IN THE STUDIO
DIVA/DIVO RECORDING CAMP
Polish your recording skills and get more comfortable in the recording studio.

• You will learn while having fun with kids your age.
• Learn Studio microphone techniques.
• Introduction to the recording process. Work with a voice teacher/producer.
• Work with a recorded tracks and piano.

Students will get a CD with one solo/duet song and this class is fun and a growing experience and is often taken more then once.
